BARENA

The name BARENA is derived from the Venetian term baro, which indicated the territory in the Venetian lagoon between land and water. In ancient times the people who lived in these areas, created a unique and distinctive style because of the need for specific functional clothing.

The Barena philosophy derIves from a passion for the rediscovery of this Venetian tradition and the peculiar dress code created and used by these people. Their choice of fabrics is rigorously Italian and every garment is made in the Venetian inland.

MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA

The iconoclastic and avant-garde French fashion house, MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA celebrates the 20th anniversary of MM6, the line that represents another version of Margiela's take on femininity, where ease plays a key role. The garments and accessories from this collection draw on iconic details from their archives.

The MM6 approach to basics is thoughtful enough to intrigue and though unlikely proportions are important to the lineup, the clothes are practical enough to serve as the building blocks of a real-world wardrobe.
